It’s been a rough 2025 for Little Orbit’s MMOs, and it doesn’t look like things are getting better any time soon. Studio CEO Matt Scott acknowledged that some server issues were keeping APB Reloaded offline this week, while Fallen Earth servers continue to remain offline for months now after the server catastrophe back in February.

“I want to apologize to the EU players for APB Reloaded,” Scott posted on June 5th. “We added some technology to the game yesterday that appeared to be working fine. But after going live, it triggered some internal networking issues. Our EU world is down at the moment.”

The technology in question were new anti-DDoS servers that should help in the long run. However, as Scott said, “This was supposed to be a pretty simple procedure… but like all things APB, it quickly unraveled and turned into a cluster.”

As for Fallen Earth, Scott reported that “The outage is related to bringing [Fallen Earth] back online. Once this is done, those servers will be 1000x easier to bring back.”

Scott said that the team is working to improve Fallen Earth in a “bit piecemeal” depending on any spare income. “It’s taken a bit longer than I had hoped,” he added.
