Welcome back to Make My MMO, MOP’s long-running column where we keep track of crowdfunded MMOs, both brand-new titles just starting their campaigns and older games long past their fundraising.

Ashes of Creation is shaping up to be the classical MMORPG to beat: This week, Intrepid Studios went in-depth on the Summoner pet class, which when it arrives to the test later this summer will evoke classic MMO pet classes with direct control and stances.

Meanwhile, Embers Adrift has sorted out its Steam launch and subscription system, Pantheon Rise of the Fallen is planning a major patch for next week, Fractured Online’s revamp continues, Star Citizen previewed Storm Breaker, co-op sandbox Autonomica pulled in over a million bucks on Kickstarter, and future co-op sandbox Astrobotanica pulled in around $63,000 in its Kickstarter run. I’ve already mixed those two up twice while writing this post, and I’m probably going to do it again.

Read on for more on what’s been up with MMO crowdfunding over the last few weeks, plus our roundup of all the crowdfunded MMOs we’re following!

Yes, some crowdfunded MMOs most definitely do succeed. But others crash and burn, and you need to hear about the whole spectrum of games that sought your money early in exchange for the promise of input and transparency. And that’s exactly what Make My MMO does several times a month. Help us keep ’em accountable, would ya?
