We’re now down to just one more sleep until Dune Awakening officially launches, and Funcom CEO Rui Casais has one final address for headstart players as well as the folks joining in tomorrow.
“We never thought we’d have so many of you joining us in headstart,” Casais says. “More than 117,000 of you played at the same time.” He also tells players that the team is has “years’ worth” of plans for the game and is “working around the clock” to address bugs and queues. Yes, more servers will come online tomorrow when the big influx begins. Official launch is 10 a.m. EDT on Tuesday, June 10th.
Need something else to tide you over? Funcom also put out another class video, this one on the Planetologist, who focuses on cartography and water collection. There’s a catch, though: The Planetologist isn’t a character creation toon. Instead, you have to train to become one later in the game.
