Lord of the Rings Online is ‘in the home stretch’ of its months-long server transfer process

The effort to move most of Lord of the Rings Online’s population from the old 32-bit servers to the improved 64-bit ones is starting to wind down, with Standing Stone Games saying last weekend that the effort is “in the home stretch” as it heads toward an August finish line.

In addition to allowing transfers off of dark worlds, LOTRO’s also begun allowing transfers between the 64-bit realms on a weekly rotation. This should assist in smoothing out the population.

Over in the game’s PvP scene, a dev talked about the upcoming Angmar Sorceress creep class, saying, “I currently have 48 outfits for the Angmarim Sorceress. There is no male sorcerer counterpart.”
