For the longest time, the information coming out of Chrono Odyssey was a series of small dribs and drabs right up until this past April, when the Kakao-pubbed MMO promised more details. That promise was most definitely kept, as the game burst forth with signups for a closed beta in May, a 20 minute-long video from the devs, and even interview with us about the game. Now it’s called attention to itself once more with a new trailer that debuted at Summer Game Fest over the weekend to keep the hype for the June test rolling and to tie down dates for testing.

In case you didn’t see our initial coverage, this closed beta test will happen between June 20th and 22nd, with interested fans simply needing to click the “request access” button on the game’s Steam page. Servers will be available in North America, Europe, and Asia, while those accepted to the test will receive access details in phases starting on Thursday, June 19th, all the way through the testing period.

As for what those players will experience, developer Chrono Studio promises time manipulating combat, Unreal Engine 5-powered visuals, and a “curated gameplay slice” that includes early story quests, scalable solo or party play, and three of the MMO’s classes in the form of the Swordsman, Ranger, and Berserker. Best of all, testing will not be under an NDA, so if you happen to get your ticket punched, feel free to share your thoughts. As for that trailer, that’s waiting below in case you missed it over the past weekend.
