The pixel-styled multiplayer sandbox Necesse is almost across the finish line as it heads towards its release out of early access on October 9th, but that also means there is some time between now and then. So what’s coming down the pike? At least one more content update according to the latest development roadmap released by studio Fair Games.
Specifically, a “minor” content patch is scheduled for sometime in July, bringing with it a creative mode, new furniture types, and “a bunch of pretty stuff.” After that, it’s all hands on deck for the next three months as work focuses on finishing 1.0, then of course there’s the full release in October.
The roadmap also gives a general idea of post-launch update foci, which include new incursion content, new mini-biomes, new items, new enemies, and the promise of more quality-of-life and community-led updates. So now we all know not only when early access ends, but what happens before and after.
Time for another Necesse roadmap update! 🥳Creative mode is coming next month! It’ll be released alongside a bunch of cool new assets and we’re super excited to see all your new creations! 🏘️🔨Thank you all again so much for your ongoing support 💖
