With Fallout 76’s fishing update giving this multiplayer RPG a publicity boost this season, Bethesda’s developers are taking advantage of the spotlight to promote what else is coming to the game later this year in an interview with PCGamesN.

Next up is a fall patch with “a nice update coming that services [the] community” with more building tools. After this, Creative Director Jon Rush said that players should anticipate the big one: “This holiday season, in December, 76 is going to get one of the biggest, most impactful patches it’s ever had. It’s going to be huge.”

As for fishing, the devs said that the reception to Gone Fission has been great, saying, “Lining up the summer, feeling like a fun summer activity — the timing of it all, [we knew that] people might be ready for some more social-focused updates.”
