Hope you didn’t have your heart set on jumping into BitCraft’s $30 early access tomorrow because Clockwork Labs has delayed it – again.
Readers will recall that the game was originally meant to hit early access May 29th, but Clockwork bumped it to June 20th – tomorrow. But now, the studio says it has to move the release yet again. Fortunately, it’s only to next week.
“︀We have some unfortunate news to share with all of you. We have to delay the BitCraft Early Access date to Friday, June 27th, 2025 (a delay of one week). Unfortunately and frustratingly our Early Access build has not yet been approved by Steam and we can’t risk waiting until tomorrow to see if the build is approved. We have been in contact with and will continue to reach out to Steam for clarification and remain hopeful that the build will be approved very soon. We know this is disappointing, and we really would have liked to have you all back in game tomorrow, but without an approved build we are forced to delay. The date change will be reflected on Steam shortly, but we wanted to give you all a heads up that this is happening. We are very sorry to you all.”
MOP’s Chris just streamed BitCraft during its open demo on Steam earlier this month, finding it a serene and slow-paced sandbox that’s all about gathering and crafting – fine for him, but maybe not for everyone.
