Albion Online’s Abyssal Depths update is here with a ‘hellish’ small-group PvP dungeon

June 2025 isn’t going to escape without an Albion Online content update if Sandbox Interactive has anything to say about it. Which it does, because it’s the developer. C’mon, you know how this works by now!

In any case, the studio released the Abyssal Depths update this Monday with a new type of dungeons for competitive players to enjoy: “The Depths offer fast-paced, small-group PvP encounters in a collapsing dungeon, where players earn buffs, loot, and Souls as they push deeper into hellish chambers, and the boldest can unlock great treasures locked beneath.”

On top of that dungeon, Albion Online added a special Orange PvP ruleset (which is meant to be “a more forgiving” version of PvP that costs only players’ inventory upon death), a reworked new player experience, a revamped learning point system, a character progression category in the journal, UI improvements, and two new crystal weapons.
