It’s about that time for Star Trek Online fans – time to put on their favorite swimsuits, beam down to a sunny paradise planet, and enjoy a bit of seasonal shore leave that ideally won’t feature a dangerous resistance group. Yes, the Risian Lohlunat Festival is back for another year with familiar activities and some new rewards.
Those who push through the long event grind will be rewarded with the T6 Federation Intel Holoship, which is either a fun reference, an interesting ship in terms of combat, or as one Redditor put it, the USS Nokia. This new ship is capable of switching configurations to be either a Tactical, Science, or Engineering vessel, and can disguise itself as a wide assortment of other ships depending on its active configuration and how many ship kills its achieved in that configuration.
Of course there’s more than just the free T6 on offer, as the event will also provide cosmetics like a leisure suit-like frontier doctor outfit, a new rainbow-colored jet pack and hoverboard, and some Risian sunscreen makeup. There are also some new universal kit modules and new emotes to chase after as well.
The event is officially underway from now until Wednesday, July 30th. Activities don’t appear to be different from prior events, which means that a new interactive map can be used to keep track of all of them birds and other things.
