Now a couple weeks into its early access launch, sandbox MMO BitCraft Online is catching its breath and looking forward to the next steps of its evolving gameplay. Clockwork Labs said that it’s shifting over into a “predictable weekly update schedule” with at least one (but perhaps more) patch every week.
With the servers becoming more stable, the current focus for the studio is to adjust the supply cost of claims, add WASD character movement, implement more hair colors, and find a balance for when to intervene in griefing situations.
“When it comes to cases of players griefing or causing conflict in the world, our policy is to take the stance of ‘Moderate don’t mediate,'” the devs said. “This means intervening and actioning cases where players are doing things against the rules or community guidelines of the game, but not stepping in in places where the tools in the game are designed to facilitate sandbox player interactions.”
