The most interesting developments in Lord of the Rings Online right now aren’t on the live servers but rather the Bullroarer test server. Standing Stone Games continues to expand upon the Update 45 preview on that realm, and players can now check out the myriad of Hunter and Burglar changes that have been in the works for quite some time.
SSG added even more kinship “refresh” tools, including being able to rename a kinship, and asked players to help test the backend changes that are laying a foundation for many major improvements to come.
Perhaps the most interesting evolution of LOTRO right now is the upcoming addition of a new PvP class, the Angmarim Sorceress. SSG put out a very early preview for players looking to get a first look at this magic user: “The Angmarim is a tactical damage class excelling at debuffing her enemies and buffing her allies, dependent upon the stance she assumes.”
