Color us surprised: It turns out that Corepunk didn’t have an unlimited cheat code for delays after all. The title is bound and determined to launch into early access next week on November 26th — albeit in a limited format — and has reset character progress while adding “several major account-related features.”
Artificial Core even is asking some players to jump back onto the test servers to put these features through their paces. These include an account-wide shared bank, a not-creepy-sounding-at-all skin collection, better optimization, and post-level 20 rewards.
“One important feature we’re currently working on—and will release within a week after launch—is that upon reaching level 20, players will continue to gain experience from in-game activities,” the devs explained. “The experience bar will keep filling up, but instead of leveling up, the player will receive a reward chest containing loot. In addition to various rewards, the chest will always include currency for the in-game shop, which the player can use to make purchases. This means that players don’t have to spend money to buy skins they like from the shop; if they wish, they can earn them by playing the game.”
