Black Desert has some mighty big reading for anyone who missed the digital Calpheon Ball, with two whole posts that are chock full of update plans for 2021 and onward.
There are plans for a lot of things for the PvPing Black Desert player, with plans to revamp Node Wars, introduce a main server system where guilds align themselves with a primary server in order to join in on monthly Server Wars as well as gain benefits for playing on that specified server, add a 10 vs. 10 Crew for PvPers to enjoy group PvP activities without joining a guild, and make some adjustments to account for a lack of Caphras Stones.
For the PvEers, there’s a new Blackstar Raid incoming, some new epic quests, a couple of new regions, a new mansion-sized residence, and a hardcore hunting ground. The devs also promised to address a number of balance issues, particularly in the case of power gaps between Succession and Awakened characters, along with plans to renew existing content, add some merchant guild-based competition to trading, address problems with ocean content with the intention of giving peaceful players priority, and bring on a new class sometime next year.
Those are just some of the highlights of two very detailed posts, so make sure you get comfy as you read up.
