I’ve been having such a blast in Pandaria Remix these past couple weeks, in part because it’s allowed me to reconnect with one of my favorite specs in the game, the Enhancement Shaman. There’s something about this class that gives me a strong visceral feeling of impactful melee, and I think I know why.

It’s the procs.

Those unpredictable crits that suddenly unleash a string of effects and other possible procs turn routine encounters into a flurry (no pun intended) of big numbers popping out of nowhere. Sure, sometimes it feels like the game is rolling dice to see when it’ll start the proc party, but I know it’ll come sooner or later — and be glorious when it does.

In general, do you prefer MMO classes that offer very stable and dependable DPS, or are you a fan of unpredictable but exciting proc spikes in your damage output?
