When Bree first floated this Daily Grind idea to me, I did not want to make it MMORPG-adjacent because I wanted to hear about otherwise irrelevant deals. Screw video games; I want to find out that I can get 100 slices of salami for $10 at Ralph’s. Do I want 100 slices of salami? Do I live anywhere near a Ralph’s? Is that even a deal? The answer is no to all of the above. But I still want to hear about that salami deal for Black Friday only.
However, we are an MMO site (allegedly), and so we should actually confine our discussion to the things that have something to do with MMOs. Fortunately, even within that space there are plenty of deals to look into. There are game sales, sure, but there are sales for peripherals, monitors, computer hardware, desk chairs, desks themselves. Steam is probably trying to sell games it doesn’t even host!
So what are the best MMORPG-adjacent Black Friday deals you’ve seen this year? It’s all right if it’s not as simple as a company selling 100 days of subscription benefits for $10 (why do I keep using that as my example) – but anything that fits into our larger wheelhouse!
