Get free premium time in World of Warships’s big balance update

World of Warships’ recently launched update 0.5.5 is a game changer, both in content and in optimizations. By reducing the number of files players’ computers have to handle, Wargaming will improve load times by 10% to 50%. To compensate for this update taking extra time (up to an hour), the studio is offering three days of paid premium time to everyone who logs in by May 10th.

Content-wise this patch includes two new maps, combat-affecting weather, and a boatload of ship changes. The sights and sounds of WoWS also received updates. Acoustic improvements include new music tracks (some with vocals), better aircraft engine sounds, the ability to control gunfire volume, and much more. The visuals were spruced up with new rendering shells, more impressive sinking ships, and full-screen fire effects. You can get a walkthrough of these changes in the video below, or read up on everything in the official patch notes.
