For those who missed their opportunity to hop into alpha testing for BitCraft, there’s some good news: Clockwork Labs has confirmed a date for its Alpha 2 test, which will be scheduled for Monday, June 17th.

The devs state in the reveal that this second test will be a “fix up” build, taking all of the feedback and learnings from the first test and applying them to the new build, as well as the first pass at the game’s empires system.

As for the scale of the test, specifics weren’t given, but the devs did state their intention to be “very generous with keys” and alluded to a way to “get guaranteed access.” Founder’s packs incoming? Only time will tell.

Meanwhile, Clockwork has temporarily disabled its BitCraft Hub management site for some under-the-hood updates that promise to provide “better account management and more direct support to all of our players.” Players can still sign up to see about getting into alpha, and account data won’t be deleted in this upgrade, but for now the hub is dark for an undisclosed length of time.
