What’s happened to Shenandoah National Park in the aftermath of nuclear war? Players of Fallout 76 get to find out as the new Skyline Valley content update is going live today, June 12th, as promised.

“Seek out the real location of Vault 63 and uncover its mysteries. Learn the truth about the Lost, the electric Ghouls that inhabit the Vault, and their enigmatic overseer, Hugo Stolz. What is causing the electrical storm looming over Skyline Valley?”

The update opens up a new southern portion of the game’s map across the Savage Divide, where players can expect all of these suggested story beats, along with new storm chasing public events and a trio of robo-brain world bosses to battle. The update also kicks off its Season 17, which is themed around summer camp fun. Assuming a huge sentient marshmallow mascot is your idea of fun, anyway.

Downtime started at 10:00 a.m. EDT this morning with patch notes expected later.
