Bigpoint has responded to a Redditor to confirm that it is indeed still working on the Game of Thrones MMORPG.
“The GoT MMO is being worked on \o/ Hopefully you will hear updates on this very soon!” posted Bigpoint. “We know it’s been a long wait but I hope you will enjoy the game.”
Game of Thrones: Seven Kingdoms was first announced back in 2012 when the browser-based, PvP-centric MMO was demoed at GDC as an HBO collaboration. Though it was originally planned to launch in 2013, it was hiring key positions as late as last summer, so we don’t know just yet how much of the interview we did at the time still holds true.
