TERA lays out its plans for early 2019 in new roadmap

As 2018 draws to a close, En Masse Entertainment is looking forward to the future in its recently published roadmap for what awaits TERA in the first quarter of 2019. January will see the release of update V79 — official title to be determined, obviously — “which will include class and skill balancing and a wealth of PvP changes — from Battleground updates to skill and PvP equipment updates.”

February will be a relatively light month, with in-game events to celebrate the Lunar New Year and Valentine’s Day, but that will be more than made up for by the massive update coming in March. Dubbed V80 — again, official title to be determined — this update will increase the level cap to level 70 and introduce new quests as well as “a new open-world boss system.”

We don’t have any more details beyond that just yet, but the post promises to reveal more information as the updates get closer to release. It looks like TERA is going to be coming out strong in the beginning of 2019, and the devs assure us that “there are no plans to slow down after that.” As for what else awaits the game in the new year, we’ll just have to wait and find out.

All I desire is a 64-bit client, but that seems highly unlikely.

Never a moment of maintenance mode with this game, Blizz. Just saying.

I’m guessing players can look forward to more loli classes and costumes.

Not to disappoint you (if you are into that sorta thing /eww ), I am unaware of anymore new classes in the works for this game currently.

However, what I like to see for next year, is more of the newer classes made available to the other races.

Played Tera for about 2 hours, didn’t do it for me but I’m pretty sure the lolis are the only reason this game still exists.

Good for you. However, I suspect they are less prevalent than the troll’icons that pointlessly derail the articles related to TERA here. o.O

Is there an Asian MMO that doesn’t have them? For that matter, an awful lot of Asian games, period, have them. So what’s the point of playing an Asian MMO if you already know that’s going to be a deal-breaker for you?
