I’m not a plucky treasure hunter, so perhaps my point of view is skewed towards the boring, but if a place called the Secret Hellpath is opened, I’m probably not going to want to go there; anything called a “hellpath” is probably meant to stay a secret for a reason. For Aion EU players who aren’t risk-averse and want to walk this dangerous-sounding location, the titular new event is open to you between now and February 8th.
The event’s encounter starts by speaking with Snoopinerk, where players must then survive waves of monsters for a maximum of 20 minutes. Players can improve their chances of survival by using an Energy of Protection that drops from monsters, which can either be spent on weapons used in the encounter or to improve character skills.
In terms of rewards, players will get chest keys to open boxes full of goodies provided they’ve survived long enough. In addition, a specific enemy that drops a key to access an additional chest can appear during the fight. The announcement post grants all of the details as well as a list of rewards.
