There’s that tired old chestnut of a maxim that often rings in my head, which is, “The grass is always greener on the other side.” This speaks to our tendency to envy what we do not have and second-guess what we did not pick. And boy am I a “Greener Grass” type of MMO player.
It’s so hard, though, when there are so many tempting choices! Probably where this hits me the most is with class picks or allocating time to any particular games because whatever I choose, there’s a whole lot more that are left untouched. It does help to sample and make informed decisions, but sometimes I am way too indecisive for my own good.
Are you indecisive in MMOs, and if so, how do you handle it? What’s the latest situation that’s caused you to dither between two or more choices?
