I once was given the advice that things worth having usually take a lot of effort and work to obtain, so suck it up, pay the price, and do what needs doing. It’ll be worth it in the end.

While MMOs frequently feed our desire for instant gratification, they also teach us the lesson of perseverance in the pursuit of a desirable goal. Yet some of those goals are a long while in the coming, even as we chip away at them day after day.

Today, let’s talk about long-term MMO goals that you want to accomplish one day but haven’t finished them yet. What are you still working toward in your game? Are you encouraged or disheartened by how long it’s taking?
