It’s the perennial question of MMORPG characters: Do you wear a helmet or not?
This may be a trickier question than it first seems. Avatar customization is highly focused on a character’s face, and it’s not uncommon for players to agonize over just the right settings to make their toon just so. To hide all that hard work from the world may be like hiding your identity.
Then again, helmets and hats are visible gear that can not only look spiffy but be a symbol of your accomplishment. These helmets may even be a sign of individuality when you factor in cosmetic options in the helm department.
So do you prefer your helmet on… or off? (For the record, I’m an “off” player.)
