Carol, listen to me, I’m tired of having this argument. We keep going back and forth over it, and it always comes down to a question of who is the better person. It’s crap, and I’m sick of it. Do you understand? Don’t act all high and mighty because you have a face, Carol.
Lots of people don’t have faces, you know. It’s not just me. And it’s really offensive when you put a mask over my yawning abyss swallowing meaning and claim that it’s like a face. I am happy with who I am, Carol. I’m happy that I don’t have a face. I don’t want a face. Don’t try to change who I am like this.
I’ll meet you halfway, I’m not being inflexible. I promise you, I will do my best to not speak in the tongue which rends the veil and made your brother weep tears of blood at Thanksgiving. But please, don’t act as if having a face makes you better than me. I mean, you don’t even leave your weekend plans in What Are You Playing. Who even does that? All the cool kids leave their plans there.
Andrew Ross (@dengarsw): Maybe a literal crying game. People talk about E3’s relevance, but thanks to EA’s event and conferences spreading out more, it’s about 6 days for me this year, and prep alone’s been slowly killing me. The only game I’ll probably get to play besides demos is Pokemon Go, but I think most of the good stuff will come during the week!
Brianna Royce (@nbrianna, blog): I doubt I will be playing much this weekend ; guests in town, so I’d be rude to sneak away and play MMOs, though I might try anyway (“it’s for work”). I do have a long car drive coming up, though, so I’ll get in some mobile gaming at least!
Eliot Lefebvre (@Eliot_Lefebvre, blog):It’s the last weekend in Final Fantasy XIV before the expansion. I’m… actually mostly caught up, but I’ll still be taking care of some things. Other than that, perhaps some single-player titles? I have so many waiting Steam options.
Justin Olivetti (@Sypster, blog): I’ve just started Heavensward in FFXIV, so I’m giving the game a good month of play to see if it’ll get its hooks into me. Apart from that, I’m mostly browsing around my MMO library to see what might be of interest for me right now. Possible candidates include Neverwinter, Guild Wars 2, Villagers and Heroes, and RIFT.
MJ Guthrie (@MJ_Guthrie, blog): My main goal this weekend is to do more sabotage missions in The Secret World and finally spend all my bonus points so I can get more cosmetics to transfer over with me when Secret World Legends launches. Man, I hate thinking of the more than a year’s worth of bonus points I have squandered because I never spent down fast enough; maybe two or more years’ worth, in fact. I also have tons of unclaimed holiday cosmetic items, so I really need to either claim those or trade to other players so they have some fun stuff too.
