Tired of cheaters in your online games? One Counter Strike: Global Offensive player took justice into his own hands.
Redditor AndroidL says he released fake hacks into the wild, hoping to entrap cheaters in the shooter. “Essentially [these multihacks] edit your view angles to those that should be impossible to get and constantly gives infinite ammo/health. The hacks also do a few other things that ensure a VAC ban would be received.”
The series of fake hacks have reportedly been downloaded over 5000 times, which AndroidL believes contributed to ban spikes in the game and a total of 3000 cheaters taken out.
“I’ll look into doing this sort of thing again,” he says.

Kudos and thumbs up to these guys for taking the piss and slapping the slappers in the face haha…
I find this Schadenfreude ironic, since we play a genre where you can essentially legally buy cheats (no matter how small) from the games cash shop

I wish someone would do something like this for Archeage, game is crawling with botters, cheaters and hackers.
MorpayneRADIO People genuinely get a kick out of it.
This is absolutely hilarious. He should do this with other online games as well.
hahahaha22h I see you came here for some replies. Here you go champ!
Next time he should sell the Trojan hacks since alot of cheaters think that hacks that sell for actual money are much safer to use. Basically a double whammy, not only would they get banned but they paid to get banned and Android can make a little money for his trouble.

I’m equally baffled, Morpayne,
I’ve never understood the need to cheat at things like games.Â
I mean, it’s not victory when one cheats — it’s actually a form of theft. You didn’t actually win, you didn’t actually conquer — you stole something that you never had any right to claim. You’re not a winner, you’re just a thief.
So, where’s the point? Where is that “inner thrill of victory”? Where’s the pride in pulling off something difficult?
And paying real, actual money to someone just to cheat at a skill-driven game? I’m not even touching that one …
Maybe it’s better that I don’t understand the mindset at all.
Cheers,
I’ve always wondered, why do you guys cheat? I could understand cheating at real life things like sports or science fairs since the rewards are tangible, but why bother with it in online games? Is it some need to grief? A need to feel like a winner? Please explain.
