We’ve all been there: You’re playing your favorite MMO(s) continually until you log in one day and find that the joy of the game has turned to ashes — or at least boredom. You’ve burned out on the repetition and the overexposure of a particular title, and now you can’t find it within yourself to log back in. Perhaps ever.
Welcome to Burnout Country, population you. Some people deal with burnout by lashing out in rage against the MMO that “failed” them. Some people wallow in depression or eschew MMOs altogether for a season. Some people, like myself, will frantically start trying all sorts of other MMOs in the hopes of finding that spark, that fire somewhere else.

Every morning, the Massively Overpowered writers team up with mascot Mo to ask MMORPG players pointed questions about the massively multiplayer online roleplaying genre. Grab a mug of your preferred beverage and take a stab at answering the question posed in today’s Daily Grind!
