Want to earn $10,000 toward college while getting hired as a paid intern at a video game studio for two weeks? Then you should consider applying to Daybreak’s Gamers in Real Life (G.I.R.L.) scholarship program.

This annual scholarship gives one fortunate winner a boost up in his or her academic career, not to mention a jump-start on a video game career if so desired. This scholarship is in its ninth year and is taking applications from qualified students from now through June 3rd. You’ll have to submit two pieces of concept art, captions, and an essay as part of the application.

It’s important to note that after splitting the $10,000 prize between two winners last year, Daybreak is back to offering only a single $10,000 scholarship through this program in 2016.
