One of the toughest things you can do as an ardent fan of some part of pop culture — video games included — is leveraging a smidge of criticism from time to time. If the thing you love can’t stand up to closer inspection and honest analysis, then you’re loving with blinders on.

It’s hard to do that, I know. I love many MMOs and would much rather spend time extolling their virtues with anyone who would hear than to point out their flaws. Let’s see if we can do this today. What’s the biggest fault of an MMO that you adore — and why are you OK with playing and loving it despite that fault?

Every morning, the Massively Overpowered writers team up with mascot Mo to ask MMORPG players pointed questions about the massively multiplayer online roleplaying genre. Grab a mug of your preferred beverage and take a stab at answering the question posed in today’s Daily Grind!
