There’s a new free-to-play MMORTS wandering around out there, and it kind of looks adorably janky in a way. It’s called World of Conquerors: Origins and it’s now available for those who want a little empire ruling gameplay in their free-to-play MMO diet.
World of Conquerors: Origins features three playable races with a total of 36 units including archery, cavalry, and inantry, which can be led into battle by generals with special abilities. The game has an alliance system that lets players call for aid and share resources, a large global market, and a quest system that has valuable rewards for those who take them on. Players can battle for control of 20 cities, including four state capitals and 16 regional capitals per game world, while also establishing up to 10 cities on each map and unlocking unique technologies.
As you can see in the footage below, World of Conquerors: Origins has this charming simplicity to its appearance (though it touts some updated graphics). Feel free to take a look yourself and judge, or perhaps share your thoughts if you happen to have tried this one out.
