Everyone screws up in MMOs. I don’t mean that in the sense of staring at your shelf wondering why in the world you have a boxed copy of TERA sitting there; that’s a different discussion. I mean that you decide to spend all of your time and resources enhancing an item that’s not actually good for your chosen class or skill layout. Or you spend all the money on crafting materials for something that’s already obsolete. Or you bid way too much on the auction house for a spell you already have. Something like that.

So today, I want you to reach deep into your history and look at your bad decisions and ask yourself what your biggest mistake was. The time you sank money or time or resources or all three into something that was just not a good decision, leaving you slapping your forehead and wondering why you did that. What do you consider your biggest MMO mistake? If you could only take back one goof, what would it be?

Every morning, the Massively Overpowered writers team up with mascot Mo to ask MMORPG players pointed questions about the massively multiplayer online roleplaying genre. Grab a mug of your preferred beverage and take a stab at answering the question posed in today’s Daily Grind!
