The Daily Grind: What familiar part of your favorite MMO would you give up to see it continue?

It's just silly.

In my article speculating on the future of Star Wars: The Old Republic under new management, I noted that I kind of expect voice acting to vanish from the game for budgetary reasons. This may not be ideal, but if I were still an avid player of the game, like… I’d be happy to give up voice acting in exchange for meatier updates, if that makes sense. And I’d certainly give up voice acting if the alternative was no updates. That seems like a no-brainer to me.

Still, I think we all have stuff that we’d be all right to see less of – or even none of – if it meant more of the MMO we enjoy. To be clear, I’m not talking about removing something you don’t like to see more of things you do like; this is a simple reduction. If the producers of your favorite MMO explained that the budget means simply providing fewer new zones, or new musical tracks, or new missions, or whatever… what would be most acceptable to you? What familiar part of your favorite MMO would you give up to see it continue?

Every morning, the Massively Overpowered writers team up with mascot Mo to ask MMORPG players pointed questions about the massively multiplayer online roleplaying genre. Grab a mug of your preferred beverage and take a stab at answering the question posed in today’s Daily Grind!
