Show of hands: Who here was hoping that the mobile MMO MapleStory M would come to their PCs? Look, it’s entirely possible that’s a desire, and now that desire is reality as the mobile title has officially been ported over to PC starting today, August 22nd.

This release is effectively a 1:1 version but with some important features for PC players, including the ability to play in higher resolutions, customizable keyboard controls, and the ability to login with an existing mobile account. An associated FAQ further confirms that multiple instances of the game cannot run at the same time and certain features unique to mobile like account linking and button resizing are not available on PC.

Those who are eager to get their mobile gaming on a not-so-mobile device have to download the Nexon Launcher and install from there. Instructions are provided here.
