I’m sure you’ve noticed by now, but October is a huge month for game delays, as studios look at the fall calendar and all the holiday hurdles standing in the way of a clean launch. Well, you can add one more delay to the list, as Dark and Darker Mobile has now been delayed clear into next year.
“To enhance the core experience of ‘survival and escape’ and to ensure better service moving forward, we have decided to adjust the official launch timeline to the first half of 2025,” Krafton announced last night. “We believe these steps will help create a more beloved game over time. We appreciate your understanding as we adjust the release schedule to ensure we provide a more polished and enjoyable experience, even if it takes a bit more time.”
The game was originally intended to launch in late 2024. “We conducted several tests with this timeline in mind,” the studio acknowledges – including the global beta test back in August.
