The Daily Grind: What MMO playstyle is completely foreign to you?

There are very few MMO playstyles I have not experienced over time, from raiding to shouting for parties to roleplaying to just logging on for friends to even having a more PvP-focused experience. But that doesn’t mean I can speak to every play experience. The idea of just flitting between multiple games without any strong commitment, for example? That’s alien to me. I need to be getting into the marrow of a game for at least a month or I’m not even going to fire it up for the first time. Usually my plan is even longer than that. It’s how I do things.

Of course, it would be remiss for me not to note that this is also my job and a lot of people probably have less broad experiences or more focused ones. Maybe you’ve never roleplayed and never want to; maybe you’ve never even thought about raiding. So what MMO playstyle is completely foreign to you? Where to you recognize the concept but have absolutely no experience or personal desire to play like that?

Every morning, the Massively Overpowered writers team up with mascot Mo to ask MMORPG players pointed questions about the massively multiplayer online roleplaying genre. Grab a mug of your preferred beverage and take a stab at answering the question posed in today’s Daily Grind!
