The Daily Grind: What ridiculously specific award would you give your favorite MMOs?

This will not be fine.

Folks, I don’t mean to alarm you, but our 2016 award spectacular starts tomorrow. Really! I know all of the results already and everything. It should be fun. But there are always games that wind up getting shorted, not because the games are bad, but because the awards aren’t tailored specifically to individual games. I know there are a few extras not on the list that I’d hand out, personally. For example:

  • Best progression content centered around fighting a time-traveling robot spirit – Final Fantasy XIV
  • Most likely to make you repeat the word “Knight” until it no longer sounds like anything – Star Wars: The Old Republic
  • Best proof that Druids should never be put in charge of anything – World of Warcraft

You get the idea. So today, before the awards kick off in earnest, why not get in on the spirit? What ridiculously specific award would you give your favorite MMOs? Would they be genuine compliments hidden by silliness, or just silly in-jokes? Let us know down in the comments!

Every morning, the Massively Overpowered writers team up with mascot Mo to ask MMORPG players pointed questions about the massively multiplayer online roleplaying genre. Grab a mug of your preferred beverage and take a stab at answering the question posed in today’s Daily Grind!
