BlizzCon 2019: When Blizzard prayed for rain and got a drizzle
So we all knew that this year's BlizzCon needed to be bigger than last year's BlizzCon. That was, on one level, not a high...
Vague Patch Notes: Does BlizzCon have a future in its current form?

WoW (Classic) Factor: The journal of Nieve Vinther – final entry
Let me write about the day that the Cataclysm arrived. I wasn't going home. I just happened to be in Elwynn Forest, really, visiting an old trainer and introducing him to my boyfriend at the time. We were sharing a glass of wine, he was laughing about the way that an early exercise had me toppling into the water in the freezing cold of early winter. Perfect Ten: WoW Classic dungeon reviews courtesy of Azeroth’s Yelp

Can't remember which one. Dolph Lundgren, probably.

WoW (Classic) Factor: The journal of Nieve Vinther – third entry
The past two weeks have been... frustrating.
This frustration is not solely down to the fact that my steps inevitably brought me close to the home...
WoW (Classic) Factor: The journal of Nieve Vinther – second entry
It has now been the better part of a week since my unexpected sojourn into the path, and for most of that week my...

WoW Factor: WoW’s anniversary editions and event speculation
Blizzard has really been pushing the whole anniversary thing for World of Warcraft hard and early this year. On the one hand, I get...
WoW Factor: Content rollouts and relevance in WoW Classic and live
Part of me was tempted to write this column chiefly about the rather baffling idea that Blizzard was surprised by the number of people...

First of all, let's just get this out of the way right off the bat: It is possible that this column will contain spoilers...
WoW Factor: What would a factionless World of Warcraft look like?
You know, part of me honestly figured that the speculation around World of Warcraft abandoning the faction split would have died out months ago...
WoW Factor: Three thoughts on the latest WoW Classic stress test
It's hard to find a whole lot to say about World of Warcraft: Classic at this point. Not in a bad sense, mind you;...
WoW Factor: Blizzard’s schizophrenic view of levels
So it was just last week when I did a whole column asking whether Blizzard does, in fact, have a plan when it comes...
WoW Factor: Does World of Warcraft have a plan?
One of the recurring jokes I use in this column's comment section is the statement that it'd just be sad to think that fans...
