Fallout 76 launches America’s Playground update and Season 16 Duel with the Devil

Had your fill of Atlantic City in Fallout 76? Too bad! You’re going back, and in fact, you’re going back right the heck now, as the America’s Playground update is live today for all players on all platforms.

“America’s Playground welcomes players back to Atlantic City, where they can experience new quests as well as enjoy free exploration of Atlantic City. These new quests take place across Atlantic City and Appalachia. In Atlantic City, players will deal with the Overgrown threat that is taking over the flooded city center. Meanwhile, in Appalachia, the Russo family has evicted the Mothman cultists and turned the Ingram Mansion into a swanky night club. But beneath the surface of their glamorous exterior, the Russos are harboring some dark secrets, and they need your help.”

Bethsoft notes that the launch coincides with Season 16: Duel with the Devil, an “epic fight between Rip Daring and the Jersey Devil,” as well as with the switchover from a scoreboard to a season pass system. Players will still be ranking up through daily/weekly challenges, just set in a new rewards format.

Fans are already reminding each other not to buy stamp plans before playing the new side quests, as the game’s new content awards some of the plans for free anyway.
