Even those most tangentially aware of the Dune franchise are aware that everyone in that setting is pretty crazy about spice. This resource fuels the conflict between the major factions in the books and promises to do the same in the upcoming Dune Awakening.
In a new short video, Funcom explains why you’ll be spice mad just like everyone else when this game arrives. Spice not only gives you power and abilities, but it’ll addict you over time as surely as the most powerful drug: “Those who control the spice, will control the universe in Dune: Awakening. But beware, for the spice can also control you.”
