Surprising exactly no one familiar with Overwatch’s art style, people are already making porn of it. Rule #34, guys. PCGamesN ran the numbers and found that Tracer is the chief target, which again won’t surprise anyone given her controversial pin-up motif.
Blizzard isn’t amused, however, and has issued takedown notices to the porn purveyors. “A bunch of this porn is being made in Valve’s Source Filmmaker kit,” explains PCGamesN. “The porn creators are ripping the assets straight out of a game, modeling genitals onto them and bashing them together really fast. So these aren’t even artistic impressions – they’re essentially stolen character models being used for something they shouldn’t be.”
For those who’d like to gawk at some official Overwatch art instead, Blizzard released its latest digital comic, Destroyer, last week. I can’t promise it’ll be a palate cleanser, however, if you’re into mechs or dwarves.
