Hear that, Overwatch players? That is the sound… of your doom! Fist!
Bad introductory puns past us, it is true: Doomfist is now playable in Overwatch. The villain character has been anticipated by fans ever since the game’s original cinematic (in which his iconic metal glove was shown).
Doomfist’s cybernetic appendage gives the players a lot of offensive options, such as a seismic slam, a hand cannon, and a rocket punch. “Recently freed from imprisonment, Doomfist is determined to plunge the world into a new conflict that he believes will make humanity stronger,” Blizzard said. “Doomfist’s cybernetics make him a highly-mobile, powerful frontline fighter.”
