Time to peek out from the rubble of Fallout 76 to see what’s going on this week… Oh, it’s just a patch? A patch people will like? And I can come out now? Awesome.
Yes, this week’s Fallout 76 update is out today and includes level 51+ respects, new view settings and resolution support, ammo drop and loot nerfs, crafting experience nerfs, Scorchbeast Queen nerfs (she had ’em comin’), and the promised push-to-talk settings. Dear god, use push-to-talk, people. Quit breathing in our ears. You’re not animals.
Perhaps the most significant change to the gameplay come in the form of C.A.M.P placement tweaks; players will now be notified if their campsite is occupied by somebody else so they can replace, annoying little objects like tiny trees and rocks won’t hinder your build, and windmills saw a buff.
Worth noting is that Bethsoft is still planning another patch next week.
“We’re still hoping to provide one more patch in mid-December. As mentioned previously, this patch will continue our focus on stability and other concerns raised by the community. If we do move forward with this patch, it will be the last one this year as we shift our focus toward updates we have planned for early 2019, which will include new game content, many additional bug fixes, and more changes based on your feedback. We’re still determining the status of this update and will keep you posted as this date approaches.”
This week's "Inside the Vault" is now live and explores the rest of the year's patch schedule for #Fallout76. https://t.co/qeokhGtsaf pic.twitter.com/yk5nGDUpCS
