Work on the live action Monster Hunter movie continues, and now the whole shebang has a date: next year on September 4th, 2020 – Labor Day weekend here in the US.

That’s according to Deadline, which also has a bit more plot info than we had before, as apparently the main characters are ported from the real world to a “world of dangerous and powerful monsters that rule their domain with deadly ferocity.” Naturally, the goods will be fighting the bads for survival.

The movie stars Milla Jovovich (because of course it does; it’s literally illegal for Paul W.S. Anderson to do a video game flick without her) as well as Tip Harris, Meagan Good, Diego Boneta, Josh Helman, Jin Au-Yeung and Ron Perlman.
