Seems like we get peeps out of the Western front of Ascent: Infinite Realm every now and again, which is kind of a drag, but then you see a picture of a cat with a top hat and a dapper mustache and forget all about the time it’s taken for the devs to offer up any details. Said dapper cat is just one of the several pets that were detailed and teased in the game’s forums, along with another post that provided some looks at locations players will find.
Let’s get to the important stuff: the pets. While buff are not outright mentioned, the write-up does state that having pets makes people “more efficient in all activities,” which seems to suggest that pets provide a character buff of some sort. Most of the post offers a lore-focused detail of pets, as well as several images of tiny dragons, dapper cats, and automatons like a robot pupper and a griffin.
The locations post has just as much detail in its description, providing a brief backdrop of various locations in the game including a city-sized airship, massive castles, and unique outposts, each one arguably more stylish than the next.
