It’s always good to expand your horizons. You might be all about the rootin’, tootin’, shootin’, and lootin’ in Red Dead Online, but sometimes you have to slow down and perhaps take up a career. Now you can with the most recent update which has added three new Frontier Pursuits: bounty hunter, trader, or collector.

These Pursuits are effectively specialist roles that provide unique progression paths for your character. Performing Role activities earns you Role XP to climb four ranks — Novice, Promising, Established, and Distinguished — for additional skills, items, and benefits, such as the ability to duck for cover while on horseback, improved Eagle Eye, or gun-spinning tricks.

The new update has also introduced some new items, weapons, clothing and horse-drawn vehicles, the ability to change your appearance without resetting your progress, and increased animation speeds for combat and looting among other updates. There’s also a new Wheeler, Rawson & Co. Club that players are automatically enrolled in if they log in between now and November 18th, offering unique new items, bonus cash, and other perks. For an additional 35 Gold Bars, players can also upgrade to an Outlaw Pass for more stuff.
