We are nothing if not creatures of habit, even when it comes to the wild game worlds we visit. There’s also something to be said for creating continuity between MMOs by fashioning characters that sort of look like each other.
At least for myself, I’ve noticed that I do tend to lean on the same character customization options in different MMOs. Blue skin, if I can get it. One not-too-offputting cheek scar. A ponytail if I’m playing a girl, a bald head and a glorious short beard if I’m playing a dude. And a short stature, if the sliders allow.
