The other day I was wandering around Bree-town in Lord of the Rings Online when I saw an Elf race by with a ridiculously fun title floating over her head: Conqueror of Writer’s Block. It apparently comes from a silly Tom Bombadil questline, and I love it.
Personally, my Minstrel runs around with the title Breakfast Connoisseur, which involved cooking a bunch of breakfasts… and eating them, of course.
I have a bit of an obsession with titles, I think; I would much rather see the titles that players picked out that their level or mastery or gearscore or whatever. They tell me more about your toon and your choices than any grind-related number.
