The Daily Grind: Which MMOs make the level cap feel most satisfying?

Whee.

I’m honestly of two minds when it comes to reaching the level cap in Guild Wars 2. On the one hand, it’s the place where you can stop worrying about climbing levels and focus on masteries for account-wide progression, which is nice. On the other hand, there’s a long chunk of leveling content in there wherein you’re not really getting access to many new bells and whistles, so reaching the end is more of a relief than an accomplishment. This is, of course, eliding the fact that it’s almost trivially easy to have so many leveling boosts that reaching level 80 happens as a de facto incidental event.

This isn’t a mark against the game, though. Reaching the level cap is not the end of the game; it’s very much the point at which you continue doing what you’ve already been enjoying with slightly different focus. And it’s hardly the only game where reaching the level cap feels almost perfunctory (City of Heroes springs to mind). So what about the inverse? Which MMOs make the level cap feel most satisfying, either because of the toys you get at level cap or just the process of getting there?
