The Daily Grind: Are you rocking an aging MMO gaming PC?

In looking back through my records the other day, I was shocked to realize that my main home and gaming PC was purchased back in 2016. I honestly thought it was a lot younger than seven years old, mostly because I’ve upgraded the RAM and graphics card so that it’s continued to perform admirably.

And that’s the nice thing about most MMOs, isn’t it? They’re pretty kind to older PCs, wanting as many people to be able to play them as possible. It doesn’t seem like we often encounter new MMORPGs that require players to seriously upgrade their hardware.

In any case, I thought we could all boast about how… old? our computers are. Do you game on a machine that has several years under its belt, and if so, how’s it holding up?

Every morning, the Massively Overpowered writers team up with mascot Mo to ask MMORPG players pointed questions about the massively multiplayer online roleplaying genre. Grab a mug of your preferred beverage and take a stab at answering the question posed in today’s Daily Grind!
